RLS Logistics Announces Warehouse Expansion Plans

Newfield, NJ - (February 2, 2009) - RLS Logistics has completed plans for expanding its Newfield, New Jersey warehouse facility, designed to enhance its storage and service offerings to frozen and refrigerated food manufacturers, distributors and retailers. Groundbreaking for the new expansion took place in January with the opening slated for June, 2009.
The expansion will add 4,000 new pallet positions, bringing to 19,000 the number of pallet positions available at the Newfield facility. According to Anthony M. Leo, President and CEO of Warehousing, "Expanding our facility at this time reflects a growing trend for the need for frozen and perishable food storage in the Mid-Atlantic region. Adding more space will enable us to better anticipate and meet the needs of our existing and future customers."
The planned expansion is the third phase of a company-wide expansion plan that sets the pace for future growth. It reflects the company's long-standing reputation for excellence, high standards of service, and quality solutions for customers. The company also has an 18,500 pallet position facility in Pittston, PA and a 4,500 pallet position managed facility in Vineland, NJ.
